Well I haven’t posted for a while, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been doing anything :P

I have a few projects on the go at the moment and I’m trying to get some of them finished before I leave for Kookmin, although I have been somewhat hampered by a few things (The new Uni mail switching to hotmail for one). But anyway, I have been looking at Quartz Composer and a bit of VDMX recently. Here’s a couple of things i have made (shot on the ipod touch, so not great quality), but it will give you an idea. The one’s on the left are apps now if anyone wants one, nothing too special. The one on the right, I haven’t turned into an app yet, but I don’t think I’ll be giving this one away. It also needs a bit of tweaking.

** I know it’s from an ipod, but please watch in at least 480p or above**

As you can see, it takes the audio peak from the sound in (computer’s in built mic) and reacts accordingly. I also have a few patches made in quartz that can be used in VDMX, which I may put up at a later date.

The music is from one of D-Styles Low End Theory Podcasts.

I’ve also been doing more work in processing, arduino and I’ve just started looking at Xcode (which helped to export the QC file as an app).
